Comet SW from last night was created by Keith g
Hi all, Just back from a weekend of astrophography back at home, I'm just posting this quick shot of Comet SW3 since there's a lot of discussion about it.
This was taken while I was waiting for the clouds to clear my targets in the summer milkyway - 5 mins exposure at f4.0, canon 300D, 85mm lens, just cropped & sharpened slightly.
This was a little rushed, so please forgive the slight trailing with the stars
Keith.

I really must think of something interesting to use as a tag line!

I went out last night to look for it but couldn't see it.
Is it visible to the naked eye now?

I could'nt see it with the naked eye either, and the sky was so clear - it's still too faint at the moment

Martin Mc Kenna
coruscations attending the whole length of the luminosity, giving to the phenomena the aspect of a wrathful messenger, and not that of a tranquil body pursuing a harmless course..comet of 1680

Nice image of both fragments and m13 kieth!!
I seen it with the naked eye on Thursday night but not last night due to clouds.
