Another M13 was created by TrevorDurity
Well it's been a while since I posted an image because of my mount issues.
Last night we finally got a small break in the clouds and I got a few shots with the 7D of M13 - two decentish shots and 4 through clouds. That was before my CG5GT decided to try and decapitate the scope by having the Dec and RA assemblies run into each other (obviously still an issue with the mount).
The frames were cropped, stacked in Astroart and Maximum Entropy run over them. Each frame was 30 seconds unguided (the quickcam couldn't pick up anything so I guess I need a long exposure webcam or something like the DSI).
I forgot to collimate! I guess that's why some of the stars look dodgy, either that or the fierce wind.

Also a great image of M13 ... it does seem to be the most photogenic object about ATM!

Thats probabily because its well in the sky these days.
A grand image, maybe abit more exposure to bring it out further would be good.
You might want to also crop the image and expand it so as to magnify it up so its bigger and clearer

30 seconds unguided? not bad at all Trevor, albeit slightly more purple than I think is real! Still, nice frame! Well done!
