Well for not having Photoshop John, you have certainly got a really nice piece of work for a first attempt!

Just to keep things up to date here's another montage of 5 images built up from 500+ frames and stitched again in the same method. Some post processing defects caused by registax (cropping marks) are visible in the northern regions, and I haven't yet done any smoothing/sharpening of the edges, but it gives a flavour of whats possible with a small scope, relatively inexpensive equipment, just time, patience and occasional seeing. This was last nights moon as I saw it from Wexford Town. Unfortunately seeing was just too hazy to try Jupiter.

BTW: Thanks to Dave Lillis for some sharpening critics. Without criticism we are blind to new possibilities/experiences. Here is the original image re-done with some more wavelet processing and light level adjustments using again only Registax (God bless 'im).
