Hi Guys,

I hope this is the right forum to post this in...

I came across a new (to me) image processing package called IRIS that may be of interest to astrophotographers. It is free to download (about 4Mb) and is specifically taylored to astronomical imaging. You can align, stack, do photometry, light curves and a whole stack of other stuff. Check out the tutorial index on the web page for more details. I am using it to process images of optics under test. Anyway, here is the link:

Hi Phillip

Yeah I've used it for a while. Check out the morphing function, it morphs frames to match the shape of the ref frame. We're trying to implement a version of this for the next regi version. My only critisicm is that it is not self intuative at all.
