If you win the euromillions, you'll be glad to know that a 111,000,000 pixel CCD detector has just been fabricated, yes, that's 111 million pixels , :shock: and its only 4 inches across !!

Something like a 20" RCOS I think.
111M pixels? Thats equivalent to 361+ Toucams. Imagine the images this could produce. :shock:

it would need at least a 4" focuser though. you'd have some FOV though about 15 canon 300d's. it must take some amount of time for the image to download and you'd have a massive file size. it is some piece of technology though.

If you won the Euromillions, why be mean and just have one? Stick four of them puppies into an array
