Hi Al,
Just a thought. If you want to use a fast shutter speed, perhaps a 200 or 400 ISO film would be better.
Using a 200 ISO film with a density 5 filter:
f/11 = 1/1000 sec
f/16 = 1/500 sec
Using a 400 ISO film with a density 5 filter:
f/11 = 1/2000
f/16 = 1/1000
Regards,
Gordon

Hi,
I was experimenting with shutter speeds etc yeaterday on the Sun
What worked for me was iso 200 and exposures between 1500/2000 sec,
This was at F5 on a 4 inch refractor, I'll have more time to better this later this week, weather permitting, as there was light high level cloud at the time.
