Milkyway Centre labelled was created by Keith g
Just a follow on from a post last week, I had some work to do today labelling this shot of the centre of the milkyway. There's so much to see, if I had gone deeper, I would have picked up even more  There's some nebulae, loads of globulars, and some open clusters. Also there are a few dark nebulae to see as well. Our solar system is a really small place !
And to think this is just a relatively small part of the sky :!:

Hi Carl, NO guiding whatsoever, just very accurate polar alignment, and a good battery! This stacked shot is just piggybacked on a C8, each shot was only for 2 minutes, so I pretty much would get away with a good shot without trailing.
Works fine for me

Isn't it a pity that the center of the galaxy is so obscured!
