comparison here shows the colour image next to the luminance data (before any major processing was done).

It also clearly shows the difference the lucy-richardson algoritm had on the colour image.

Very good Dave!! Would be interesting to see a monochrome version in a side-by-side.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Dave McD: The lovely thing is next moon free night I can get 15x1min green filtered frames with no gradient and just replace it. Then I can let the greens run free!

The colour image does appear better alright. Starts are that bit sharper.
