That's alright for a first attempt. Nothing wrong with it at all.

No Kieth, not unless you'd consider a deck chair & an Argus catalouge a tripod!
I was actually all set for a few hours of overdue visual observing but my batterys died again right at the wrong time....
But not to be beaten I just grabbed my binos and camera and had a good ould time...
glad I did now coz I spent a lot of time learning how to use the thing.
Can't wait to get my t adapters and use it with the scope!

ITS NOT BAD FOR YOUR FIRST PIC, YOU NEED TO USE LONGER EXPOS TIMES IF YOUR TRACKING IS SPOT ON, I WOULDNT GO ANY LONGER THEN A 5MIN EXP IF YOUR USING A DIGITAL CAMERA, BUT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE LONGER SHOTS WITH A CCD CAMERA BUT THE PROB WITH LONGER EXP IS IF A SAT PASSES YOU F.O.V. THATS THE EXP RUINED WITH A BLOODLY BIG WHITE LINE GOING STRAIGHT THROUGH YOU PIC. STACK ABOUT 10 5MIN OR IF YOUR TRACK OR POLAR ALIGN IS AS CRAP YOU CAN USE 50 X 1MIN EXP OR 30 OR 10 WHAT EVER YOU CAN, BUT THE MORE YOU STACK THE BETTER THE PIC. IT MAY TAKE A LITTLE LONGER TO PROCESS BUT IT WILL BE WORTH IT. TRY SOME FILTERS, AN OIII FILTER IS GOOD FOR BRING OUT THE HINDEN TRESEURES IN THAT BEAUTIFUL PATCH OF SKY. LOOK FORWARD TO SEENING MORE OF YOUR PIC AND WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK.
