Hi all, I managed to get a shot of the waning moon last night, although it was a bit hazy, there was some nice viewing. It's a cropped shot through the 80ED and the 300D, as the 80ED has a wide field of view making the moon look a little small, next time i'll use the 2x barlow to get better detail.
You can see Mare Crisium top right, along with the crater Cleomedes above. There's a lovely chain of four large craters on the terminator, two with central peaks, from top to bottom, these are Langrenus, Vendelinus, Petavius and Furnerius (had to look up the atlas for these)
Although very bright, it's nice to see the moon at this phase I think
