The AP Mak-Cas has not been produced for some time and I have seen the odd unit sell on Astromart for over $20k. Seriously!

Dave,

I think it sold for around $10k when it was being produced. There are rumours that there may finally be a new production run after a multi-yr hiatus involving either a 10" or 12" version.

It is a killer scope for imaging the solar system. Yes, the price is also a killer. :oops:
