Not sure how useful Adobe's new Photoshop Lightroom will be for raw astrophotography images but worth checking out as the Beta version is a free download at the moment. The Beta Mac version has been available for a while but Adobe has now released the Beta Win version. As always, Beta versions are works in progress so the final commercial product will obviously be more comprehensive. It's likely the Beta versions are set to expire at some future date, probably early 2007.

Obviously, there are no books on Photoshop Lightroom yet but there are some tutorials on Adobe's site and you will find others by typing Adobe Lightroom in Google.
