NGC891 - Edge On Galaxy in Andromeda. was created by DaveGrennan
Clear skies last night presented me an opportunity to image one of my favourite galaxies. At 10million light years distance, it still shines at magnitude 10 making it one of the finest examples of such a galaxy.

That's simply stunning Dave!

I just love these kinds of edge-on spirals .... they just look much more 3d and dynamic than most face-on spirals.
