NGC 884 Open Cluster in Perseus was created by ayiomamitis
Dear Group,
I exploited the two-hour window I had available last night to image the stunning open cluster NGC 884 in Perseus and which forms one-half of the well-known "Double in Perseus". I was hoping to image NGC 869 as well so as to prepare a two-frame mosaic of the double cluster but this is something which will have to wait for next week.

The LRGB image is based on two-hours total exposure.

Stunning image!
Cant wait to see the mosaic, i'd say it will put antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap051011.html to shame!

I'd say the entrants might disagree:)
Anthony: That is a simply super image, about as technically perfect as an image can be! I love the colour definition.
