Folks - here's an LRGB image of M15 by Eamonn Ansbro. Taken with a 0.4m SCT. Minimal processing by me.

Cheers

Good sharp image. Slight blooming on the star in the upper centre.
Nice one.

Nice one Frank!

I really have no more details on the imager or the OTA or the details of the exposure than that above. I think Eamonn's OTA sits atop a Paramount (the one before the ME).

Hopefully Eamonn will put us out of our misery soon enough...

Cheers

Dave

As far as I remember this is a 16" Lx200 OTA, a nice piece of kit!.

The brightish star in the 8-9 oclock position seems to be either flaring or is a double so I had a look back on the image I got of a few weeks back
www.irishastronomy.org/boards/viewtopic.php?t=4661
and its does look like flaring, yet the other stars in the image seems to mostly ok, a strange effect? My tracking was off so all the stars in my image are slightly bloated in one direction.
