1347 frames out of 2400
CG11 at about f/33 (3xTV barlow) Skynyx2-0.
Will post the color version once i piece it together.

The shadows cast by the rings are clear on the disc and in the uncompressed version there is a small storm visible just above the ring shadow

Nice one Dave,
Can't wait to see everyone's results for this year on Saturn, after all the Cassini hype (not meant to be derogatry). Cassini has been fabulous but it's geat to see "real" (earth based) images by our own "feet on the ground" astronomers.

Does the SKYnyx capture avi's like a webcam or are they single shots?
How do you find this (expensive!) piece of kit overall?

The Skynyx is great. It can take avi or bmps and up to65 frames per sec uncompressed.
