M31 - Andromeda Galaxy was created by Gary Clarke
Well Dave G wasn't the only one getting new gear, I need to take some reponsibility for some of the cloudy nights too. My contribution to the inclem ency was another Celestron CGE mount plus a shiny new Wiliams Optics ZS80EDII Apo refractor.
Here's my first image with this pairing, it's M31 taken last night with strong moonlight.

Jeepers, what is with shiny new mounts this year, eh?
Smashing image Gary! Greak tracking there. Great dust lanes, super focus, great tracking. Only comment I might make is the slight red band on the right and the blue in the bottom left corner. Minor issues in comparison though.
I'd be dead chuffed if I got an image as good as that!
