Camera adapters was created by jmcc5
I'm looking to get an adapter that i can use to fix my camera to the visual back of my scope (11" Celestron SGT). I do have a lense adapter that came with the camera and this is threaded to take extras and the diameter is 55mm. Can I get a T adapter (I think that's what it is called) to suit this. :?

Hi Keith,

It's a Fuji Finepix S5000. Unfortunatley the lense is not removable but I'm hoping because the lense is threaded as well as the lense adapter that this might be a way around it :)

Hi Joanne,

What type of photos are you hoping for?

You will probably have some difficulty if you want to go for deep sky. In order to proccess the frames you would need them in RAW format (not jpg) and I am not sure if any camera that does not feature removeable lenses has this.

If you want the moon etc then you may get somewhere but you might be better advised to use a web cam for planets etc.

Later,

Jed.
