hi all
here is a wider image of schroter's valley with 80ed piggybacked on C14" as you can see 80mm is excellent for wide field views of the moon.

on the second image you can see plato the black lake.to the extreme left.and below that is the bay of rainbows and mare imbrium . witch brings us to copernicus creator in the center of the image .

Great images Carl. Nice n sharp showing good detail. Was that using Dave Tyler's method. You can alo use an IR pass filter - check out my images in another thread.

i have not tride mr dave tylers method yet but here is what he said

Next step hi mag shots through the C14, IN B&W mode with red filter with Ir block, WHEN YOU GET GOOD SEEING. :D

i have to get some good imaging filters soon
