M65 and M66 - Galaxies in Leo was created by DaveGrennan
Here's another shot from a very productive run last night.

I was surprised that both fitted on one frame. I may well try to capture NGC3628 which is very close by, next time out and complete a mosaic of this area. As a galaxy lover I'm getting a little excited about the onset of spring and all those lovely virgo/coma cluster galaxies just waiting to have their photons soaked up!

Regards and Clear Skies,

Dave.

At this rate Dave, you'll be able to get a deep sky catalogue called after you !
Excellent image Dave, those 2 galaxies are brilliantly displayed 8)

As for feedback (almost for the sake of saying something as they are pretty much perfect) is it possible to get sharper detail in the galaxies themselves??

Dave,

This is another keeper. I really like it as well.

I hope you realize that you simultaneously captured a couple of Arp's.
