Dear Friends (and Seanie),
The sky finally cleared last night and the 92% humidity led to some incredible seeing which ranged from 1.8-1.9" (FWHM) at the beginning of the session and got down to 1.52" a few hours thereafter.
I am happy to present you with my first hit from last night, the beautiful open cluster M48 in Hydra. To this end, I kindly direct you to:

The transparency could have been better but the really good seeing was something else!
Clear skies!

Hehhehe, finally a picture of my buddy Seanie!
I knew you wouldn't like it ... you are one tough dude to please. Just wait next weekend with some red object gracing the skies for about 75 minutes.

Yeah I know!!
Seriously;
Anthony: That is one hell of an image. It's like a jewel box full of treasure!! Wonderful!!
Anthony looking at the details I see a couple of things which interest me. Firstly I see yo don't bin your RGB channels. Thats interesting cause I tried binning and it just doesnt seem to work. It seems to me at least that there is no way round making the RGB the same length as your luminance. I also notice you used 3 x 10min for L and 6 x 5 min for RGB was there some deep meaningful reason why you just didnt repeat 3 x 10 min for the RGB?
Regards and Clear Skies,
Dave.
