Love it Michael,

You could just process ot the coma in photoshop. I was doing a a mini Messier imaging marathon last night. I got 14 objects but by the time I reached M95 (image 10 in the run) I twigged that I was imaging with the red filter in :? ,I rushed the set up and forgot to check the filter wheel. Got a nice M1 in red light at least I think its nice. It will have to wait for processing.

Wow!, Magic image Michael, !
The lines in the nebula are fab, you can clearly see the pulsar.
Like Anthony,. there is something off with the stars, be it focus or wind.

Just curious ... where did the spikes on the brighter stars come from?

However, the stars are very slightly oval throughout ... is this a guiding issue, a windy evening or a problem with the optics?

Hi Michael,

A user problem most likely! :) Individual frames look ok so may be something in the way they were aligned. I'll give it a go tomorrow evening again.

This is the best type of problem because it is the easiest to fix.

If you would like, prepare a ZIP file with your reduced frames and I will give it a shot .... as you can probably tell, photon withdrawl symptoms due to the weather .... oops, I mean I am eager to help my buddy Michael.
