Terminator Peak was created by Frank Ryan
Hi all.
I had another go at processing some old Moon avi's in the
new registax.
This is a quick result from a 14 point alignment.
Lots more detail came out in this than in the regular 1 point type.
I don't know the peak,
(too tired now to go looking it up)
Anyone recognise it?
Comments welcome.....etc..

We'd need to know the date and time the image was taken to be able to identify it. Virtual Moon Atlas is an excellent program and it's free to download! Just enter the time and date, zoom in and then scan along the terminator until you see that collection of features... and Bob's you uncle!

By the way, my guess is that it is Crater Petavius on the south-eastern limb. It is the large one in the centre on the terminator.
