The colour is bang on...the blue north..the rings...

The seeing last night was fantastic where I was to...

That's very, very good indeed Carl, and better than anything I've ever got!

But..... could it be a bit better if the Red and Blue channels were realigned slightly? I suggest it because if you look at the image there's a red fringe to the left and a blue fringe to the right.

I hope you don't mind me taking the liberty, but here's what I mean.....

Imported into Registax 4 using the RGB align feature estimated on a point on the left edge of the planet. Compression may make this overall grainier than the original but I think the channels line up better.
