Finally last night got a chance to catch a full run of LRGB images of M51. The link below is the image processed during my lunch break at work. Hopefully tonight I can spend a bit more time on it. Subframes all binned at 3x3 ~ 1.8 arcsec/pixel.

Luminance 20min RGB 10min each. Rushed things cause I only started on M51 at about 12.55am. I was previously imaging one of the Leo triplet that still needs processing.

I'm a designer, so I'm always happy to see colour! Think it gives an image greater depth- the colours help to distinguish between objects. It looks like concept art
