HI All,

Here is an image from the 3rd of April, i combined RGB + copied a red and used it as my L channel so i combined R+RGB, it's good to play around with the image and see what happens.

Carl - that's an impressive image but, dare I say it looks a little on the 'fuzzy' side? Perhaps it was the seeing?

And is the blue patch to the left a processing artifact?

Am I reading the details right - 120 seconds exposure total?

And where is Cassini?

Great detail Carl!! Like the lads said, you have certainly got the hang of the camera alright. Apart from what the lads have said, one **small** suggestion I would make is to crop the image so as to centre the planet in the image - would helps focus the eye a little by framing it better, especially as you've done all the hard work in capturing & processing the image.
Now that you've mastered Saturn, we'll be expecting a similar high standard with Jupiter!

Jupiter is massive in a camera compared to Saturn, Carl, we're all expecting big things with that planet    although its low altitude is certainly a bummer
