PS. I have an ST-10XME coming and I am very eager to see how the QE of 85% works out with these two targets. I will use the same total time for luminance but five-min subs and the enhanced QE of the ST-10XME.

Hey Anthony
Best of luck with your new toy :D . Did you buy local or from the States?

Stunning photos (not as good as yours  ) taken from Italy with Astro-Physics 155mm EDF F/7 and ST-10XME combination.

Enjoy

Hi Mike,

It was purchased from the US for sure ... no way I will be paying more than 200% of the US price to the local dealer.

I am really excited by the QE since it would mean more signal per unit of time.

Magnificent image Michael -- very well done. Seeing this incredible image of M51 reminds me of my visit to Kenneallys jewellers shop in Limerick last year when I brought in an image of M51 which we wanted etched onto a glass trophy for the 2006 WSP quiz . The 3 shop assistants and the owner gathered around to know what was this very odd image and why would anybody want to engrave it on a piece of glass?
The astronomy lesson in the shop took a while to explain what the image was. I just wish I had your image that day --it would have made the explanation so much easier.

Conn Buckley.
