WOW Good news all,
Our own Mr., David Grennan image of M13 is going to be in the Independent newspaper tomorrow, I for one want to congratulate him it is well deserved. As we all know dave is one of the best deep sky imagers this country has to offer .

Don't be too premature. The reporter said to me 'It will be published if the election coverage doesn't get in the way'.
Also Carl, there are many members of this board who produce just as good or better stuff than I do. I could think of quite a few guys who post here whose images would grace any newspaper.

It made it alright, nice piece on page 9. However there were a couple of quotes taken out of context.

Ah ... don't ya just love modern journalism and it's pathetically low standards. Particularly when it comes to science and technology where all the writers seem to be clueless. The blind writing for the blind or something like that.
I remember the first time my work got reported in the times. After doing the interview I was so excited, then when I read the piece I was so disappointed. It was obvious the person hadn't a clue.
