Thanks guys and thanks fguihen for posting. I actually havent seen the article up close myself yet. Again I understand there are a few 'innacuracies' but the general thrust is good and I'm just happy to see irish astronomy getting the coverage it deserves in the media. If it encourages one person to get involved with astronomy or astrophotography then its a case of job done.
We had quite a reasonable turn out at the talk on Monday night including one or two from here which was nice to see.
I was talking to a reporter from new scientist magazine yesterday who are also interested in doing something. If that goes ahead I might be coming to a few of you guys looking for your best image to publish. Thats all a little tenuous at the moment Could turn out to be nothing, very easily.
