CG11 at f/30 (TV 3x); Skynyx2-0 camera; Schuler UV filter; Taken near Birr Ireland.

Beautifull image Dave. Quite a lot of atmosphere detail and even on the dark side. Does ashen light show up in UV?

I can see detail on the edge DARK side..an almost full disk.

This may be a "first" proof of ashen light!

WOW, Dave, you seem to have captured the edge of the disk on the night time side of the planet !!! :shock: :shock: at the nine o'clock position, no doubt about it!
Can you over-push the levels in photoshop to bring it up?

There must be some sort of UV luminescence in the atmosphere, I don't think this is ashen lights, although I could be wrong.
