Hi all,
With a day off work,I processed the last image of Saturn I took on the 4th of may with the nights getting brighter plus it's not dark till after midnight this is the last image of Saturn this year . Till the next time.
4th may 2007 at 22.00 New Haven Observatory, Balbriggan. Celestron CGE 14" @ f/22. Lumenera SkyYnx 2.0. Astronomik filters LRGB was 3000 frames each at 15 fps Processing Registax v4 photoshop seeing 5 out of 10

Another stunning image Carl. Loads of banding, 3 rings and Cassini all the way round!

+ 12"LX200, MK67, Meade2045, 4"refractor

A good image Carl,
There seems to be some sort of outline to the upper right of the rings and globe, there might be some bad frames included in the stacking which might have caused this. All the same, a grand image.

Very sharp around the rings alright. I see the ghosting also but I think it is more of a histogram stretching effect.
