Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Fantastic image Kieran, M57 is one object that I never grow tired of, I love the subtle pinks and blues and a hint of green, you've captured it all.

Very nice image Kieran
You also bagged IC 1296, the galaxy close to M57. You can't see it in your original shot here but if you make it a negative image and adjust the contrast and gamma correction you'll see it pop into view -- it's towards the 5-o'clock position of the nebula in your photo. The galaxy is near that very elongated isoceles triangle of stars pointing downwards (about 3-nebula diameters from the Ring itself). The spiral arms of the galaxy are quite obvious. Well done!

I saw IC 1296 on the raw images. The sub frames were stacked and combined in astroart with a slight unsharp mask. I still have not done any photoshop processing which might bring it out more.

Hi Kieran,
It's nice to see m57 back again and what an image, love the detail plus it's a nice wide angel shot.
Well done.
