Hi all,

Adobe have released a new version of Photoshop and it is the first release to officially acknowledge the astrophotography community. I couldn't find a blog listing the relevant features, but I've had a tinker myself and had a good read of the website. I'm sure we'll be hearing more...

New features of interest include:
-image stitching/blending/stacking (it will even warp images to stack them correctly. Compensating for motion/optical aberrations)
    -improved HDR functionality
    -better batch processing options
-easier curves control- ability to set black and white points
-logging of editing steps- you can even save them to a text file
    -Better RAW processing

Overall the application seems to have quite an overhaul. Unfortunately most of these features are only available on the 'extended' edition with an extended price tag. You can download a trial version from the Adobe website.
