Venus taken at 19.00 with the sun still 21deg above the hori

Here is an LRGB of venus taken at 19.00 with the sun still 21deg above the horizon. Its abit of an improvement on last nights image.

Venus 4th June 07 New Haven Observatory, Balbriggan. Celestron CGE 14" @ f/22. Lumenera SkyYnx 2.0. Astronomik filters L- 1000 frames rgb 500 frames each Processing Registax v4 photoshop.

Great shots Carl. If you can get your hands on a filter that will pass only the shorter wavelengths (blue, violet or just Ultra Violet) you should start to see a lot more detail in the cloud deck.
