My Shots from May - highlight - Moon + Jupiter over Maynooth was created by voyager
Hi all,
I've just finished adding my (few) astro pics for May 2oo7 to my website. You can see them at www.bartbusschots.ie/gallery/index.php?/category/43
All these shots were taken with my Nikon D40 with it's default 18-55mm lens held by hand.
I'm particularly proud of having caught this lovely alignment of the Moon, Jupiter and the spire of the college chapel:
Bart.

Thanks Carl!
Were I to have dark skies where I live ATM I definitely think I'd set out to snap all the constellations, however, where I live ATM the light pollution is terrible so the best I can do is image planetary events and twilight shots where light pollution is not a problem.
I'm hopping to get a car soon so then I should be able to drive out to a dark sky site easily and really get imaging!
