Nice detail in that image, Dave. I take it the semi-regular shadowing is some sort of vignetting left over from stitching together (ten+ ?) images? Looks lihe two rows of five images - am I right?

Yep thats it Phil. You dont know how difficult it is to get a flat field from a PST. The filters work in such a way that only part of the disc is tuned at any one time.
