A rarely forward posted posted images from other folks, but I couldn't resist in this case:

Here are a few H-alpha shots of M16, The Eagle Nebula, taken at the
Mount Wilson Observatory last night with the AP 160 EDF at f/7.7 and
STL-11000M camera.

The detail contained in both those shots can only be admired and stared upon in awe. Truly mesmerising.

They look more "real" when they are not "coloured in" with the usual overdose of bright orange,reds and greens etc..
