Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Those images are simply stunning. The detail is amazing, framed they would look good on any wall.

Replied by Dave Jurasevich on topic M16 Eagle Nebula from Mount Wilson
Hello,
I'd like to thank the IFAS group for posting my Eagle Nebula image taken from Mount Wilson earlier this week as well as all the kind comments from the gentlemen and ladies who responded.
I have very much enjoyed visiting your site and learning more about Irish amateur astronomers and your activites. If any of you are ever visiting Southern California please do drop me a line. I'd love to give you a tour of the Mount Wilson Observatory and its historic equipment.
Best Regards,
Dave Jurasevich

Funny that you should say that. I know people who say that a black and white movie always looks a little more real to them then a colour one does, must be some sort of eye thing going on there. They look more "real" when they are not "coloured in" with the usual overdose of bright orange, reds and greens etc..
Peter.

I am gob-smacked. I cannot belive that an image was posted on this forum without a critical analysis from Seanie. Seanie M I think you might be softening with age. Come on try harder, there must be something in this fabulous image that needs a tweak
PS I have a fishing rod any plans yet?
