Very nice work Steve, and I'm particularly interested to see that as I have the same scope - I haven't got an M13 that good yet though!
Clear skies,
Paul.

Well done Steve!!
I'd be very proud of that as my first DSO image.
Wow I cant believe that was taken with the very scope that broke my heart!
It just go's to show the ones that work, work a treat!
Steve, Have you tried any other DSO's?
Don't mind the DSO 'big boys'
post away !!!
I'm sure they won't bite!

Hey I never get tired of ol m13.
Besides you always start with the easy ones to compare with others before you go for the harder faint fuzzies.

Congrats on such a fine first image. One can never have enough samples of M13 ... it is truly a stunning object.

a grand image Steve, globular clusters are my second favourite objects, after the planets.
tracking and focusing look pretty good.
One thing I see is that the background is slightly uneven, there is a halo of brightness around M13, are you able to see this?
All the same a great image.
