Lens adapters was created by Keith g
Hi folks, long time no post  I was wondering of anyone could help me here - I have just got a canon 400D, and have wondered about lens adapters, I have a pile of old Pentax k lenses from my film days and have come across these adapters on ebay that promise to fit these lenses on the eos camera
Are they too good to be true????? Any advice would be really appreciated

The main issue seems to be that the lens may or may not achive infinity with the lens adapter in place.
Also they can introduce abberations due to the new spacing etc.
I would buy one only if the seller would accept a return if you are not satisfied.
Later,
Jed.

Keith,
No matter how cheap (or expensive) these adapters may be, I would advise you against such a purpose. I also wish things were this simple including my now-sold Canon FD-series lenses.
Unfortunately the best (and only) solution is to start pursuing Canon EOS lenses. This has obviously upset a lot of people but there is very little you and I can do about it.
