Moon shot

Following Dave Lillis's excellent registax tutorial at the SAC meeting last night, I have tried to re-edit a moon avi I took last week with the 8" Meade.

I'll have to load up winzip on my laptop at home over the weekend. If I do it at work I will probably get in trouble with the IT department.

It seems like the focus was slightly out when you captured the AVI, its almost impossible to fix this, but if you wish, you can bring the AVI into the next meeting on a USB stick and we can try and work with it if you wish.
Focusing is probabily the most difficult aspect of imaging like this, practice makes perfect.

Thanks Dave. The focus is most likely off. The seeing was also very bad as the moon was only just above the horizon when I took the 30 second AVI
