Hi All,
Yes it was great to here the telescope moving in anger. first I had to dust down all the cob webs of the scope I enjoyed the views through the scope then the moon got in the way bummer. So I did what any Astronomer would do I got the camera out and this is what I got.
6th Aug 07 at 03.30 am New Haven Observatory, Balbriggan. CGE 14" @ f/11. Lumenera SkyYnx 2.0. Astronomik Red Filter. Processing Registax v4, PhotoShopCS2, 1000 frames captured 700 used at 15 fps
Hope you like them. It was great to get back out under the stars again.

The Creator is called Copernicus.It is also known as the Monarch of the Moon. Samples brought back by the Apollo missions show that Copernicus was formed 810 million years ago. :shock:

Its interesting to see the floor of Copernicus as half smooth and half rough, I noticed this also very clearly in the Obsession when I pointed it at the Copernicus.
