Guys,
You know how each of us has a target which inspires us, well this one is mine, I've always had bad luck with it, something goes wrong, clouds etc etc etc. So I was pleased last night to get a good run at this. I handpicked 36 frames from 18 frames I got about a week ago, and 39 I got last night. I was fairly clinical in that anything that had a hint of a question mark over it (guiding, satellite trails, etc) got dropped.
Here is the result;
webtreatz.com/component/option,com_zoom/...geNo,9/key,72/hit,1/
Hope you like it!

Beautiful image, Dave - looks as if it's almost a foreground object - and like Carl, I love the scattering of varmints'n'critters coming out of the woodwork!
Ok, now I'm going to show my ignorance... and laziness (can't be bothered reaching for Burnham's): What for it called "The Deer-Lick Galaxy"?
Phil.
