Dear friends ... and the guy rubbing shoulders with Sir Patrick,

A very neat emission nebula in Cygnus is Sh2-112 and which is commonly referred to as the Clown Face Nebula. For a result based on four hours total exposure, I kindly direct you to www.perseus.gr/Astro-DSO-Nebulae-Sh2-112.htm .

This was my second attempt at this nebula and the degradation in the seeing during the final hour last night adversely affected my final result and I suspect I will need a third visit.

Now, who will be the first to identify the clown's face in the image?

It took a small while but I think I see it, it looks more like a monster then a clown to me. :)
