A couple from this evening was created by paulevans
The sky sort of cleared a bit here, but it was more translucent than transparent with dew rapidly forming. I got first light through the new 'scope though, seen Albireo, Vega, Epsilon Lyra, Mizar, M31 and the Moon. Here is the Moon rising through the murk - only circa 10 deg above the horizon and not very sharp.....



Later I caught the Moon and M45 with a 135mm lens....



A pity about the humidity - the new 'scope is now drying off!

Nice ones Paul.
I like the orange moon - sharp enough given the conditions, reminiscient of the March eclipse.
Well done on the capture of the plieades against such a bright moon, will you be trying later this month for the occultation?
