Both through my 10" Dob before I got the collimation right. Venus is so bright, the settings in this shot are ISO 200, 1/4000th sec f5!

No, not handheld Seanie, DSLR mounted directly on the focusser of the Dob by T-mount - ie at the prime focus. There's enough friction in the mount to deal with the fact that the tube beomes a bit front heavy and of course the shutter speeds are fast enough that the lack of any drives is not a problem.
