Thanks guys! I do really get plenty of sleep, honest! However given the scarcity of good sky I'm prepared to be a bit flexible in order to make the most of it. That and the fact that I'm making up for the 18 years when I lived in London and didn't see anything below 2nd magnitude

Thanks Dave. Yep, single frame of Venus - 1/4000th sec. One morning I'll get up early enough and be sufficiently Compus Mentis to get the laptop and webcam together but it hasn't happened yet
