The series might be of interest to some of the photographers here.

This landmark series for BBC4 will explore the key events and images that have marked the development of photography. At the heart of the series will be a quest to understand what makes a truly great photograph.

Excellent program.Saw it on Monday.

Didn't realise that the "Kodak Brownie" (the most famous camera in history) dated from as far back as the 1890s.

Nor did I know that Eastman just made up the name "Kodak"!
