Great Jeff
Did you see that much fuzzyness around the comet. I tried to image it at f/33 with my 11 inch and Skynyx camera but all I could make out was a stellar type dot.

Yeah, visually it was quite bright, and about 60" in diameter. Very yellow at lower powers, fading to slightly yellow at 375x.
Interestingly, most of the photos show a gradual decrease in brightness of the halo as one moves out from the center. Visually, it's much more abrupt, keeping most of it's brightness out to about 90%, and then falling off quite rapidly. Very much like the Owl Nebula without the eyes (and yellow, of course).
I'm clouded out tonight.
