Neximage on Vista: was created by gbyrne
Hi,
Dont know if this has been mentioned here already, but after moving to vista I couldnt get Neximage working. (Have been using an old laptop with XP, which has dodgy battery so always had to have it plugged in) But no more... if you want to install this driver and all works fine now on Vista!
Download from here:
tinyurl.com/33ovua
Now all I need is a break in the clouds!!
Cheers,
Gary

Gary,
That seems to be only available to people who have Yahoo accounts. Any chance you could link it elsewhere? If needed I can provide space to upload it to if you don't have space yourself which won't need an account to download it.

Fantastic. Many thanks Gary. This was one of the reasons I wasn't upgrading.
Good news here is that it's only the inf they needed to update so the driver is the same one as on XP! So I wonder if anyone made a custom version for the Toucam as Philips said they wouldn't write a Vista driver for it.
Macros - I put the file up here thelunarscape.com/files/CamViA20.inf

Hi guys,
I know this post is a few months old, but another solution is to download a logitech QCP4000 camera driver for the Neximage. Once downloaded, you plug in the camera and when asked to find driver (after the computer tells you that no suitable driver was found) you browse for it on your computer. It should now be in a drop down list of named brands on your computer. Click on "Quick Cam Pro 4000" and then select the qcp4000 on AmCap and thats its your ready to rock. Couldnt believe it when it worked for me. Unfortunately, the solution lower down on this page didnt work for me. Hope this helps others who are or will have the same problem.
Regards,
Henry
